How hepatitis A prognosis

All of a hepatitis A virus had infected people, whether children or adults who are susceptible. However, as with the hepatitis A virus infection and the socio-economic situation is closely related to personal hygiene habits, it was our country, under the age of 15 children and young people most vulnerable to hepatitis A, because of the disease, was lasting immunity, to adulthood, to reduce suffering from hepatitis A, the elderly less. Hepatitis A generally good prognosis, easier recovery, is a self-limited disease. In nurseries and kindergartens, children infected with hepatitis A clinical symptoms appear small in fulminant hepatic failure are fewer. Recalling WHO data indicate that clinical symptoms of jaundice and mortality were increased with increasing age and children less than young adults, and even lower than the elderly. At present, most scholars believe that although a few cases of hepatitis A can occur clinical, biochemical indications of persistent recurrence of chronic pathological examination, but will not become a chronic liver disease. Only within the last six months in the infants of hepatitis A were heavier conditions, the mortality rate was higher than that of older children. There are reports within 6 months of hospitalization of children Hepatitis A Hepatitis A heavy 70% and the mortality of about 50 percent of other older persons (60 years or over) in patients with hepatitis A and complications are also heavy, dead rate of 10%, but whether young or old, liver cirrhosis caused by hepatitis A are very rare.
