Febrile seizures and epilepsy ties

Febrile seizures are common diseases pediatrics and childhood morbidity rate of about 3-4 per cent. According to scholars at home and abroad of observation, febrile seizures in epilepsy about the possibility of 2-7%. The transformation of febrile seizures in children with epilepsy and the existence of the following risk factors relating to their risk factors are: (1) age of onset in the first nine months to less than 1-year-old; (2) complex nature of febrile seizures; (3) relatives in a positive family history, including epilepsy and febrile seizures history of repeated attacks; (4) in a high fever and convulsion before abnormal neuropsychological development. If the above risk factors are present, about 50 percent of the cases in the first attack after one year without heat into convulsions.
