The treatment of leukemia in several stages
The general treatment of leukemia can be divided into remission induction and post-remission therapy two main stages, which can be further divided into consolidation therapy defended intensive treatment and maintenance therapy in two stages. Remission induction aim is to quickly minimize the leukemia cells, bone marrow hematopoietic function returned to normal, to achieve complete remission standards. Post-remission therapy is aimed through prolonged period of consolidation and strengthening treatment, the body further eliminate residual leukemia cells, to prevent leukemia relapse, mitigation and extend survival time for curing leukemia.
